Interview of a farmer about Water Usage/littering.
By Dejuan Burns
I Dejuan Burns was the interviewer and my friend Brandon cruz was the interviewee.
The main topic of the interview was about water usage and how often he uses water and litters . It took place in a quiet classroom. One of the topics was that the trash that people carry gets littered often. Another topic was, what are some ideas Brandon has to be able to help to stop littering and help stop wasting water? The final main topic of the interview was an idea for ways to inspire people to not litter such as carry a bag around with you to parks and other places where there might not be a trash can nearby to you and throw the trash away in there.
What are some ways you can think of to prevent littering and to conserve water?
This interview is a perfect way to explain to you that you can start caring for the environment in not that bad and easy ways. Such as carrying a bag around with you while at a park so you don’t feel tempted to litter. As for water you can take shorter showers and try not to use a lot of water and maybe for dishes don’t leave the water running because it waste’s the water. Mainly just think of things you can do to help the environment be clean and not so polluted. Same goes for water as well.
Just remember that water is one of the most precious resources.

- DI:Do you use water hoses or sinks often?
- BI : Yes I use them everyday to wash my hands or do dishes, or to water the plants.
- DI: How much water do you drink a day?
- BI: everyday? I usually drink about six glasses a day.
- DI: Do you go to the beach often and use the showers and sinks over there?
- BI: I don’t go to the beach that often but when I do I don’t usually drink the water over there. Instead I just take short showers when I’m at the beach.
- DI: Do you go to a park often to go walk your dog?
- BI:Sometimes I do but I don’t usually bring an extra bag to throw away the trash that i’m carrying around. I usually carry a bag to throw away the dog poo though.
- DI:What are some ways that you think you can help to not litter and waste water?
- BI: Maybe for the trash bring extra trash bags with you to parks and if there isn’t a trash can around throw away the trash in the extra bag so that you wouldn’t litter. For the water, Maybe take shorter showers or take bath’s with less water and don't throw out full water bottles that you don’t feel like using. Try to conserve the water in there instead for when it’s wanted.
